Consult

Consult before delivery

You have chosen to breastfeed or you still have that choice. To prepare well for your pregnancy, you can read in, but you could also attend an information meeting about breastfeeding through your midwife or the hospital.

You can also choose to receive the information individually so that it is tailored to your own needs and possibly those of your partner. I would be happy to come to your home to provide the information you need.

Consult after delivery

Breastfeeding is a natural choice but sometimes you can need some help. Tips from the environment and the internet do not always offer the solution. You and your baby are unique, so a standard answer does not always help you. I can give you personal advice by coming to your home for a consultation. We can then have a look together at what you and your baby need to continue.

It goes without saying that the health of you and your baby is paramount.
Do you recognize this?
* Baby is difficult to breastfeed
* Latching is difficult
* Feeding is painful
* The baby is not growing enough
* You have insufficient / too much milk
* The baby is restless
* Short tongue and / or lip strap
* Refuse bottle
* Retracted / flat nipples
* You have (imminent) breast inflammation
* You want to phase out with breastfeeding
* You have had breast surgery
* Combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding
* Breastfeeding and medication use
* Ways of supplementary feeding
* Cleft lip
* You may expect to have a multiple birth or give birth too soon.

In all these cases, or if you want information or advice for any other reason, I can help you.
